Our philosophy for your work assignment in India

Our phi­lo­so­phy is that you do not have to worry about any tax, labor or social secu­ri­ty issues. We will arran­ge the appro­pria­te visa for your ent­ry and stay in India, pro­vi­de you with a sui­ta­ble apart­ment and take care of all other orga­niza­tio­nal mat­ters for you. You should feel well loo­ked after so that you can devo­te yours­elf to your work undis­tur­bed by admi­nis­tra­ti­ve duties.

Application for visa and stay in India

We take your wis­hes and per­so­nal frame­work con­di­ti­ons into account. Tog­e­ther with the type and dura­ti­on of your plan­ned work acti­vi­ty, we will explain the opti­ons for ente­ring and stay­ing in India. In prin­ci­ple, we offer two opti­ons, name­ly a second­ment a) with deduc­tion of the Indi­an with­hol­ding tax (so-cal­led “With­hol­ding Tax, WHT”) or b) wit­hout deduc­tion of Indi­an with­hol­ding tax. The Indi­an tax year runs from April 1 to March 31 of the fol­lo­wing year and is decisi­ve for cal­cu­la­ting the per­mit­ted peri­od of stay in India.

Taxes and social security

We sup­port you in all tax and social secu­ri­ty mat­ters in con­nec­tion with working in India. In prin­ci­ple, Swiss natio­nals and for­eign natio­nals with a per­ma­nent resi­dence per­mit (C per­mit) con­ti­nue to be sub­ject to Swiss AHV, IV, acci­dent and health insu­rance legis­la­ti­on while working in India. They the­r­e­fo­re remain in the Swiss social secu­ri­ty sys­tem.

Duration of stay in India

The dura­ti­on of your stay in India depends on various fac­tors — your avai­la­bi­li­ty and capa­bi­li­ties as well as the assign­ment requi­re­ments as per our job descrip­ti­on. We will dis­cuss the con­stel­la­ti­on with you and sub­mit our pro­po­sal. See also “Appli­ca­ti­on for visa and resi­dence in India”.

Other organizational support

We plan and orga­ni­ze ever­y­thing for your work and stay in India. The­se include, for exam­p­le Flights Switz­er­land-India-Switz­er­land (four flights per year), pick-up at the air­port in Jai­pur, accom­mo­da­ti­on in an apart­ment in Jai­pur (equip­ped with at least two bed­rooms, a living room and two bath­rooms), trans­por­ta­ti­on ser­vice bet­ween the apart­ment and the work­place, etc.

Vacation in India

The spe­cial fea­ture of the work loca­ti­on in India is to enable you to spend vaca­ti­on days in India to expe­ri­ence and get to know the coun­try and its peo­p­le. Howe­ver, the vaca­ti­on entit­le­ment must not dis­pro­por­tio­na­te­ly redu­ce the legal­ly per­mit­ted days of stay in India accor­ding to the visa. The­r­e­fo­re, plea­se cont­act us in good time so that your inte­rests and ours are taken into account.

Requirements for an application

You are a Swiss citi­zen or a for­eig­ner with a per­ma­nent resi­dence per­mit (C per­mit) and have a good com­mand of writ­ten and spo­ken Eng­lish, which qua­li­fies you for a teaching/training posi­ti­on in India. You also have seve­ral years of pro­fes­sio­nal expe­ri­ence and expe­ri­ence as a voca­tio­nal trai­ner for inter-com­pa­ny cour­ses (ÜK) or as a spe­cia­list tea­cher with appro­pria­te pedago­gi­cal trai­ning.

They may not be inte­res­ted in working in India, but have exten­si­ve expe­ri­ence in pre­pa­ring trai­ning and edu­ca­tio­nal mate­ri­als. Cont­act us and we will check with you whe­ther the­re is an oppor­tu­ni­ty to work in Switz­er­land.
