Focus: con­cen­tra­ti­on on manage­ment tasks and ope­ra­tio­nal work­flows

The UGC-accre­di­ted B.Voc pro­gram in Faci­li­ties Manage­ment intro­du­ces stu­dents to the core prin­ci­ples of mana­ging and main­tai­ning modern infra­struc­tu­re. With a cur­ri­cu­lum ali­gned to glo­bal indus­try stan­dards and the latest tech­no­lo­gi­cal deve­lo­p­ments, the pro­gram pre­pa­res stu­dents for care­ers in indus­tries such as cor­po­ra­te head­quar­ters, health­ca­re, hos­pi­ta­li­ty and edu­ca­ti­on.

Goals

  • With the rapid expan­si­on of infra­struc­tu­re in India and bey­ond, BSDU is trai­ning the next gene­ra­ti­on of skil­led faci­li­ty manage­ment pro­fes­sio­nals.
  • The cour­se com­bi­nes aca­de­mic know­ledge with prac­ti­cal skills and ensu­res that gra­dua­tes are ide­al­ly equip­ped for a dyna­mic and gro­wing pro­fes­sio­nal field.

Duration and admission criteria

  • Dura­ti­on: 3 years
  • 4 days of on-the-job trai­ning + lab time per week
  • 2 days of les­sons + self-stu­dy per week
  • Admis­si­on requi­re­ments:
  • Abitur (10+2) in any sub­ject area or
  • 2 years of voca­tio­nal trai­ning (ITI) after the Abitur or
  • Sel­ec­tion pro­ce­du­re: Ent­rance exami­na­ti­on fol­lo­wed by a per­so­nal inter­view.

  • Focus: Tech­no­lo­gy and sys­tem inte­gra­ti­on.
  • Post­gra­dua­te diplo­ma (9–12 days)
  • Spe­cia­liza­ti­ons in Faci­li­ty Manage­ment (FM)
  • Lea­der­ship or buil­ding auto­ma­ti­on & con­trol.
