As part of the development of our “Bachelor in Furniture Design and Manufacturing (Hons.)” program, we are seeking a dedicated, flexible, reliable, and open-minded individual for the following exciting position:
Master Trainer — Bachelor’s Degree in Furniture Design and Manufacturing
Switzerland–Jaipur
Part-time (80–90%)

You can expect a challenging and varied role in an international environment, with the opportunity to actively help shape the establishment and further development of an innovative degree program. You will work in a professional, dedicated, and intercultural team and have the opportunity to spend several months on assignments abroad in India, with comprehensive organizational support. Your profile
- A college degree in furniture design, industrial design, wood technology, furniture making, interior design, product design, or a related field
- Several years of professional and leadership experience in the furniture industry, product design, interior design, or manufacturing
- Experience in training, continuing education, and coaching professionals is a plus
- In-depth knowledge in the areas of furniture design, engineering, materials technology, manufacturing processes, and quality management
- Strong communication, coaching, and consulting skills
- Very good German and English language skills (at least B2 level)
- Intercultural openness, a high degree of personal responsibility, and the ability to work independently
- Willingness to undertake assignments lasting several months in India
Your tasks
- Support in establishing and further developing the Bachelor’s degree program in Furniture Design and Manufacturing
- Coaching and professional guidance for teachers in the fields of furniture design, product development, and manufacturing
- Ensuring and further developing the quality of training in accordance with BSDU standards
- Development and implementation of practice-oriented teaching and learning concepts with a focus on design, construction, and manufacturing
- Promoting cooperation with companies and industry partners in the furniture and interior design sector
- Participation in academic, strategic, and organizational development projects
